Unnatural Selection

This was my first foray into fabric and animation! I created this minimation (I just made that up!) about 4 years ago while I was still at uni, using only my scanner, Photoshop and iMovie. I thought it'd be cute to share on here.

I just found this on Flickr, these are freebie samples that I sent in to Handmade for their craft fairs later this year. They fill up goody bags with loads of samples, business cards, postcards etc. and give them out to the first 200 or so guests as they arrive. Their next fair is on November 29th at Oxford Town Hall, so plenty of time to save up your pennies! And get there early for a goody bag!

kOodles on Print & Pattern

The awesome Print & Pattern blog kindly featured kOodles today, thank you for your kind words!

My next craft fair will be at Chipping Norton Town Hall (OX7 5NJ) on Saturday 18th July from 10am-4pm. I will have plenty of new kOodles as well as some new shoulder length shopping bags, hand embroidered and appliqued of course!

kOodles at the Chieveley Village Fête

On Sunday 21st June the annual village fete will be held at Chieveley Manor. kOodles will have a presence there with the help of my partner, who will hold the fort for me while I'm away. Please come along for traditional games, arts and crafts and yummy food on (fingers crossed) a sunny Sunday afternoon. Click here for details.

kOodles at mini Barn Acre

This Saturday 13th June I'll be on duty at the brand spanking new mini Barn Acre Gallery up at My Village Life at the old Shire Horse centre in Maidenhead. The shop has just opened in this beautiful setting and will be open weekends throughout the summer. Opening times are: 9am-5:30pm on Saturdays and 10am-5pm on Sundays. All the artists involved will be on duty at some point so come down for a browse and a chat! I'll be there from 1pm this Saturday. This weekend there's also a Teddy Bear Picnic and a Classic Car Day, see the website for more details and directions.

Final weekend

This Saturday and Sunday 30th and 31st May will be the last open weekend of the Open Studios event. Please come along between 11am and 5pm for a browse and a drink, the weather's going to be beautiful! Don't worry if you can't make it though, the kOodles online shop is now open, so you can view and purchase many items from the comfort of your own home!

kOodles at the Barn Acre Gallery

Today I delivered a group of kOodles and other little goodies to the beautiful Barn Acre Gallery in Wargrave where they can make friends with some rather handsome chickens and a gorgeous baby bunny rabbit before finding new homes. The exhibition "In the Pink" is on until Monday 25th May and is a lovely place to visit over the bank holiday weekend so get down there while you can!
