Hello all my faithful frOodles! I have finally pulled my finger out and started popping all my original hand stitched pictures up on my Etsy shop. I need to clear some space for all the productiveness I plan for the next two months (before my exhibition, that is). So please browse here for my artwork at heavily discounted prices I might add! I seem to have taken it upon myself to organise a joint exhibition in 2010 with some people I've never met. That's why I haven't written for a while, that and the fact that it's Christmas, the season of procrastination and staying snuggled up on the couch for days watching rubbish films. So I'm not usually an organiser of things, but I appear to have fallen into it fairly easily, although I can't say I'm too keen on the pressure. I've finally sent in my application for the 2010 Newbury Open Studios, the deadline of which is today, so to brighten up this post, here's my image for this year's event. Enjoy, and look out for it!

Well, the Christmas Art Market in Marlborough on Thursday was easily the busiest I've ever been! A very successful day for me, so thank you to everyone who bought something or who took a card, hopefully you'll be in touch soon!I've added a couple of new bits to my Etsy shop. Firstly, as they went down so splendidly on Thursday I'm now doing packs of six robin and reindeer cards including three of each design.
I also added this new thank you card, cute and simple, perfect for sending out all those post-Christmas thank you notes.
I've had a busy week in the virtual world as well as the physical real life one! 3 orders in 3 days on Etsy, making the Monster Birthday card my best selling mini card! My strange animal signed postcard prints are also doing rather well online, but more so in the real world. Thank you to everyone who's purchased from me in the last week! I was exhibiting at the New Greenham Art Fair in Newbury yesterday where I was on the ball enough to take some slightly more inviting photographs of my work on display, so here they are for the world to see (failing that, at least someone!).
It was really nice to see all my work up on a nice clean white wall with good lighting, I took advantage and went a bit snap happy!
